NC Arts Catastrophe Relief Fund
The North Carolina Arts Foundation acknowledges that natural disasters and other unforeseen catastrophes are likely a new normal. The community response to Hurricane Helene reminded us that in times of duress, there are many individuals and organizations who want to lend support. Therefore, we announce the establishment of the NC Arts Catastrophe Relief Fund as a mechanism to receive and distribute relief funds for North Carolina artists and arts organizations struck by hardship.
This fund will remain open long-term, and the North Carolina Arts Foundation will work closely with its partners at the North Carolina Arts Council and Arts North Carolina to both raise and deliver funding as quickly as possible in times of need.
The recent flooding and heavy rain from Tropical Storm Chantal affected six counties in the middle of our state (Moore, Person, Alamance, Chatham, Orange, Person). Please consider a donation to support those impacted.
